It has been shown to help boost your metabolism in return this helps people with weight loss. It has also been shown to reduce your appetite reducing the amount you need to eat to stay full.

There are quite a few uses for coconut butter I will just go through the ones that I use the most.
This is an amazing replacement for normal butter on paleo friendly pancakes, paleo friendly bread or anything else that would usually have butter on it. When you go to spread this you will get a nice rich coconut spread that melts over your warm bread or pancakes. Totally worth giving this a try!
Using it in a healthy stir fry will turn your sauce into a rich creamy coconut sauce. This is perfect for anyone who loves both the feel & taste of coconut. I would only add this after you have cooked your vegetables and meat.
You can replace the coconut oil with this in a paleo friendly mayonnaise. You should get the same results but it might a bit richer in coconut flavour. This mayo turns out to be a great dipping sauce, condiment and anything else that mayo goes great with.
As you probably know being on the paleo diet really limits the amount of ingredients you can use to make a sauce creamy. The coconut butter is a great way of achieving this if you don’t have any coconut cream on hand. However, it is important to keep in mind this will impart a strong coconut flavour to your sauce.

If you’re not really interested in making your own coconut butter, then you’re luckily able to buy it from a specialist shop. I personally haven’t seen this in any of the supermarkets that are near me so I unfortunately had to go to a specialist shop and pay a bit of a premium on it.
